Abstract: Operational space weather forecasting requires quick access to timely space weather data and models. Hereby we discuss the usage of ESA SWESNET products for forecasting purposes and some of the challenges of utilizing the network, such as missing capability, frequent maintenance or product updates, multiple log-in checks, the need to go through multiple steps to find a specific product. We also acknowledge the operational advantages of certain products and their usability for daily forecasts.
