Abstract: The DYN model is an analytical solution of Parker's hydrodynamical equation that describes the solar wind corona. It requires a radial electron density distribution and produces various physical quantities as output. In this contribution we use an equatorial electron density distribution created from many decades of eclipse observations to derive an electron temperature radial distribution. It is the compared to recently published in situ satellite measurements to validate the DYN model.
