MAJIS will perform detailed observations of the giant gaseous planet Jupiter and three of its largest moons Ganymede, Callisto and Europa, for at least three years, combining two different channels: the VIS-NIR channel from 0.5 to 2.35$\mu$m, and the IR channel from 2.25 to 5.54um. The Royal Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (BIRA-IASB) and the Royal Observatory of Belgium (ROB) are in charge of the fully characterization and calibration at the spare and flight mode of the VIS-NIR detectors, including the development of the facility to achieve this task. Here we present the work that will be carried out at IASB-BIRA and ROB focused in the calibration bench design.
