Abstract: We present in an electronic form the measurements of the relative positions of 129 visual double and multiple systems performed by Dr E. Van Dessel during the years 1968-1974. In the summer of 1968, 64 measurements of 38 different systems were collected at the Observatoire de Nice. From 1969 till 1974, 295 measurements of 91 systems were collected at the Observatoire royal de Belgique. The original booklet of the observations was put at our disposal for this task performed by one of us (S.R.). In addition, we also present the residuals in the sense (Observed-Calculated) based on the orbits listed in the Sixth Catalog of Orbits of Visual Double Stars (Hartkopf and Mason, 2012). 2
