Abstract: A brief status report is presented on ongoing extensive and detailed Walraven photometric observations of the young stellar cluster NGC 2244 in the Rosette Nebula. The observational and reduction procedure is described, together with the first results on membership, extinction, and detection of pre-main-sequence stars.
